“I dream my painting and I paint my dream.” Vincent Van Gogh

From where do you get your inspiration?  For me … the better question is, “Where don’t you get your inspiration”?

Today I’m sharing three periodicals that inspire me.  I get so excited when I receive a new issue that I can’t think of anything else until I’ve had a chance to curl up with it and dig in.  It’s inspiring to read about (kindred spirit) artists, discover their journey, and view their projects.  My favorite part is getting a peek inside their studio space, be it a kitchen table, a cottage studio or a fabulous loft.  I get inspired ideas and an itch to try something new. The publications are pricey, but I look at it like buying a book.  Honestly, the contents are so rich and full, it feels like a book.  I save every issue and go back to them over and over again.  If you live nearby and want to borrow an issue or two from the “Lewis Lending Library,” just give me a holler. (ps… This is not a paid promotion… just me getting all excited about something I love.)
